Since 1997 Rachelli has chosen to adopt supplier selection criteria that are even more restrictive than those specified by law. Indeed, the association with the Demeter brand, which certifies the organic and biodynamic origins of the ingredients in our ice-creams, dates back to 1997.

BRC Food Certificated
The BRC standard is an inspection model for evaluating and controlling suppliers of branded foodstuff products. Due to its efficacy and extensive requirements, it has been adopted by the European Organised Distribution system, with a much broader scope of application that is not limited to branded product suppliers alone.
BS OHSAS 18001:2007 – Occupational Health and Safety Management

It applies to organizations and enterprises of all types and sizes, and accommodates various geographical, cultural and social conditions.
The international Demeter brand is a worldwide guarantee of the proper application of biodynamic principles from the cultivation through to the production of foodstuffs.
The Fairtrade certification guarantees that products bearing the Fairtrade brand have been produced with due respect to the rights of workers in the developing countries and purchased in accordance with international standards of fair trade.
Food Safety System Certification 22000
FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification Scheme 22000): a certification scheme developed by the Foundation for Food Safety Certification to certify foodstuff producers with the aim of standardising certification requirements and methods for obtaining food safety systems throughout the production chain.
This certification, which is indicated by the “Barred Ear of Wheat” logo displayed on the product packaging, guarantees that the product contained therein is certified gluten-free and is therefore suitable for sufferers of Celiac disease.
Halal food certification
The "Halal" certification is used to attest that the products of food chains, cosmetics, chemical and pharmaceutical products, products for body care and health, the financial and insurance sector, industrial processes, transformation, including certification of packaging, comply with the ethical and sanitary regulations, the law and the doctrine of Islam, therefore marketable in all countries of the Islamic religion.
It is a quality certification, supply chain and product comprising in fact not only all of the quality control systems, the supply phases of the first phase or phases and the processes of transformation materials, but also the internal logistics and storage, the internal and external transport until the final destination. methods and procurement systems of finance and social responsibility are also also involved.
In the food industry the "Halal" certification guarantees that the foods - as well as comply with Italian and European regulations on health and safety - are prepared according to Islamic rules.
The IFS Food standard certifies that the company has internalised the objective to totally fulfil its legal obligations and protect the consumer by offering «products that are safe and comply with all contracted specifications and legal requirements».
ISO 14001:2004 – Environmental management system
ISO 14001:2004 specifies requirements for an environmental management system to enable an organization to develop and implement a policy and objectives which take into account legal requirements and other requirements to which the organization subscribes, and information about significant environmental aspects. It applies to those environmental aspects that the organization identifies as those which it can control and those which it can influence.
UTZ Certified Cocoa
A global certification programme that establishes standards for responsible production and supply of cocoa. UTZ Certified Cocoa is a guarantee of social responsibility and environmental-friendliness.
This certification, which is indicated by the logo displayed on the packaging, guarantees that no animal products, by-products or derivatives whatsoever have been utilised in the production process.
